Kid’s Ministry

At Redemption Church, we are passionate about seeing the next generation come to know, love, and serve Jesus Christ all the days of their lives. While families are welcome to keep their kids in the service with them, we also provide classes for kids through the 3rd grade.

We also take child safety very seriously. We staff each room with at least two volunteers, who each pass a certified background check. If you have questions about our training and safety guidelines for our children’s ministry, please email kids@redemptionjohnstown.com

Sunday Morning Overview

  • Kid's Discipleship Class

    9:00-9:45 am

    During the adult Discipleship Class, we offer a class for children ages 2 to 9. The curriculum for this class is the New City Catechism, which aims to instill key biblical truths into the hearts and minds of kiddos.

  • Nursery

    10:00-11:30 am

    During the Sunday morning service, we offer a nursery for ages 0 to 23 months.

  • Preschool Class

    10:00-11:30 am

    During the Sunday morning service, we offer a preschool class for ages 2 to 5. The curriculum for this class is HyFi, and it teaches Bible stories through videos, songs, memory verses, and leader discussion.

  • Elementary Class

    10:00-11:30 am

    During the Sunday morning service, we offer an elementary class for grades K through 3rd grade. The curriculum for this class is the Biggest Story, which walks through the Bible over a two year period.
